Scarlett Wilkinson

Throughout my time teaching her, Scarlett proved to be a passionate and talented thespian, whose love of the stage translated into memorable performances both during the GCSE course and in each school production in which she was involved. Scarlett was keen to act upon feedback and always gave her all in lessons. She demonstrated excellent physical and vocal range in her performances and real confidence and skill in directing others around her. Scarlett’s final performance (under considerable pressure) was characterful, poised and a highlight of my time teaching Drama. A delight to teach and a student truly deserving of her Grade 9 in Drama. Bravo!- Miss Boardman

Commentary from Principal R Ronksley

Dear Todmorden High students

This year has been a year like no other, and an incredibly demanding one. But I know, from speaking to your headteacher and your teachers, how well you have come together to rise to the challenges you have been presented with. And how well you have supported one another. And how well you have maintained an unrelenting focus on your studies. Simply put, you have been superb – you make the school proud, and you make the people of Todmorden proud.

And so, it’s against this back-drop of co-operation and support that I am proud to give this year’s RSFC Ambition Award to a student with an incredible work ethic, amazing results and a wonderful ability in drama. She is currently studying Drama, History and English Literature. The RSFC Ambition Award goes to Scarlett Wilkinson.

Well done Scarlett! Well done to you all!
