Calderdale Cross Country Compeition was held yesterday afternoon at Savile Park. We had 15 year 7 students competing as well as Jack Crummett from year 12.

The pupils were competing against all the other schools in Calderdale. If runners came within the top 10 they would qualify to represent Calderdale in the West Yorkshire cross country competition.

All of our pupils showed a high level of effort and determination to get around the muddy and cold course. Special regognition must go to Josh Maude (Year 7), Laurie Gee (Year 7), Freya Priestley (Year 7) and Jack Crummett (Year 12) who all finished in the top 10 and therefore qualify to represent Calderdale. This will take place on Saturday 6th February at Northcliffe Park.
