Yorkshire Federation League champion, Seb!

Calderdale are officially Yorkshire Federation League champions for both year 9 and year 10.

The year 9 boys beat Nottingham Schools FA 1-0 after extra time with a wonder goal from Travis Atherton (Ryburn). Calderdale were up against it throughout, against a team that has lost one league game in 3 years and got to the semi-finals of the ESFA National cup. The team is listed below and were all magnificent however the goalkeeper James Wood (Lightcliffe) was incredible. The team was slightly depleted also due to captain Matty Weston and Harry Finch (Brooksbank) having Yorkshire cricket duties to attend but thanks to Mr Doyle late additions were made to the squad.

Our very own Seb, Year 9 represented Calderdale U14’s this season for football and was part of this fantastic win for Calderdale. Huge congratulations to Seb, what an achievement!
