Mrs Thompson set her Year 7 students the task of competing in a bake off while they are in lockdown. We had an overwhelming response to this appeal for bakes and cakes, and Miss Shirt and her brother Neil Shirt, judged the competition. Mr Shirt owns his own catering company so was the perfect judge for the competition.
Neil Shirt Catering Ltd was founded in 2010. As a chef, Neil has over 25 years of experience, working in some of the most prestigious of restaurants, hotels, food halls and catering companies in Mayfair, Knightsbridge and Dublin. He has spent the last 10 years in event catering. His skills were honed in establishments such as The Greenhouse, Greens Restaurant & Oyster Bar, The Chesterfield Hotel, Harrods of Knightsbridge, Chapter One Restaurant, Fitzer’s, Luttrellstown Castle, Roly at The Pavillion, Claire Hanley Catering and Itsa Group.
Please take a look at the reel below to see who our winners were, and what the students produced. I think you will be as impressed as we were! Thanks to all who took part and to Mr Shirt and Miss Shirt for judging the competition.
