The Year 7 bonding residential was an absolutely marvellous event, with staff and students’ alike coming back to school on Monday having had a great experience. Students were able to participate in zip wire, buggy building, orienteering, outdoor night time games, and many more activities. The weekend was a fantastic opportunity for our new Year 7 to bond with each other and forge new friendships across their year group, as well as allowing our staff to get to know them a little better. Many thanks to Mrs Thompson for organising the event, for the staff who attended the trip and most of all our students for their impeccable behaviour and their resilience in the face of great adventures across the two night stay.
A parent commented “Thank you for organising the Year 7 PGL residential last weekend. My son really enjoyed the weekend. Many thanks to other staff who gave up their weekends to be involved”
