“I am delighted to be Headteacher at Todmorden High School, A SHARE Academy and to lead a school which is dedicated to ensuring that every student has the very best opportunities available to them.  Those opportunities come from great qualifications and the life skills that we develop through the love and care that we pour into our students. Our aim is that our students grow into confident adults who will contribute to the world with creativity and positivity.

THS is a place to belong, for students and for staff.  Our vision is clear: to enable individuals to unlock their unique potential. We believe that every student has the capacity to excel and make a positive impact on the world. Guided by our core values – ARCH: Ambition, Respect, Care, and Honesty – we foster an environment where students thrive both academically and personally. 

I don’t think there’s a more dedicated, harder-working, more talented staff anywhere in the country. We see young people where they are and invest in them as individuals. In return, we expect our students to commit to the school values for themselves, for each other and for the school staff.

I am a lifelong Todmordian, and I believe that the geography of our valley shapes the people who call it home.  They are friendly, creative and kind, with a good dash of resilience – proud of where they come from, and Todmorden High School is proud to be a part of that community.”
